Jim Eaves

Jim is an award winning film maker with short and feature credits as writer/director. He has spent 20 years working as Video Production Manager for a national governing body, filming, editing, producing, hiring freelancers and working with agencies.  

An alumni of Southampton Solent University and part of the Mentor program helping guide students into full time employment.

“Having mentored students studying film and chatted to people coming into the industry it became clear to me that while their knowledge of the technical side was really good there was a gap with the career side.

So with that in mind I’ve set up “The Honest Filmmaker” where I chat to people who are already working in the business and ask their advice for starting your career.”
